Starting from area definition through to completion, Geophysical Services can help you maximise the effectiveness of your survey and budget. Physical and technical difficulties are assessed and solutions found. Strategies are formulated to maximise effective shooting with respect to hazards, weather, tides, vessel capabilities and contract. Contracts are scrutinised or written to ensure that ambiguities are avoided, that effective control over proceedings and data quality are maintained and that no undue commitments are entered in to.

Survey parameters can be established or checked for the level of appropriateness. Survey area charts drawn up with hazards, coast lines, survey lines and outline. Datum shifts are checked together with magnetic variation for the survey area.

Logistics and HSE regimes can be assessed or implemented.

The application of technical and HSE audits to either potential contractor vessels or appointed contractor vessels is available.

Survey design and progress is planned using professional management tools including critical path analysis. Microsoft Project is the predominant project software.
