geoguide has been formed to fill a need within the seismic exploration industry.

The recent expansion of the exploration sector has generated an increase in the number of geophysical contractors but a decline in the number of options available for the quality control of their operations.

Whilst the QC/QA regimes of the established geophysical contractors grow ever more comprehensive, the industry expansion has dictated that personnel experience levels, at least in the short term, are diminishing as new recruits are taken on to fuel the expansion. The newer companies sometimes lack QC/QA infrastructure or are deficient in the numbers of adequately experienced personnel.

External QC/QA is currently more important than ever yet the options available to exploration companies is currently more limited than ever.

geoguide aim to extend the options available to the exploration companies by providing alternative sources of QC/QA personnel and complete QC/QA regimes.

geoguide aim to accomplish this by matching client and consultant requirements and expectations.

Exploration projects will be assessed to determine the correct level of QA/QC required and appropriate resources allocated. geoguide will endeavour to match the project to the personnel and will support the field personnel with technical back up.
